Fluval BIOMAX provides an optimal environment for the colonization and growth of beneficial bacteria. The unique bio rings have a complex pore system that provides an optimal environment where beneficial bacteria can thrive. Fluval BIOMAX also reduces and controls ammonia and nitrate. For freshwater and marine environments.

The Fluval Foam Pad captures large particles and debris for effective mechanical filtration, the crucial first stage in the filtration process. Custom-sized, it fits perfectly inside the filter chamber to prevent debris bypass. The foam pad has a pore size that allows efficient water flow, less clogging and long-lasting filtration. Suitable for freshwater, marine or reptile environments. Includes 2 foam pads.

The Fluval Poly/Carbon Cartridge has two sides that combine to provide thorough and effective chemical filtration, the crucial second stage in the filtration process. The polyester filter pad side filters out fine debris and contaminants. The carbon side filters out harmful liquid substances, colourants and odours. For freshwater, marine or reptile environments. Includes 2 Poly/Carbon cartridges.
