Beautiful and unique pieces, Red Moor Wood is a perfect natural decoration for any aquarium, vivarium, or terrarium.

The pieces are Non-toxic and very good for growing java fern, java moss and plants in general. They have no negative effects on living organisms in the aquarium.

White fuzz or black spots may be present on the wood at time of arrival, or shortly after adding to the tank. Please be assured this is perfectly normal with a natural wood product - it is a biofilm that naturally occurs. It is completely harmless to your aquarium and fish and is caused by the wood releasing excess nutrients and is part of the decomposition process of the wood. Given time the biofilm will disappear, or you may wish to remove the wood from the aquarium and gently remove the film with a brush.

Please rinse the wood before positioning it in the aquarium or terrarium. In an aquarium the roots may need a few days to sink and will need weighing down initially.

The wood will release tannins and slightly lowers pH in your aquarium.

You will get the wood you see in the main photograph.

Approximate Size: Length: 56cm (22in) Height: 33cm (13in) Width: 18cm (7in).
