Designed specifically for the Fluval FX high performance canister filter series, Phosphate Resin infused Pads perform double duty as both an effective mechanical and chemical media.

This Phosphate Remover pad is designed specifically for Fluval FX filters, and is used to control phosphate, helping to reduce algae and green water. You can use as many pads as necessary to reduce and control phosphate levels*. They also help to effectively trap floating particles for clear water (debris, excess food and waste).

The use of the phosphate remover pads within your filter means you can prevent potential algae outbreaks, and their custom fit helps to increase the filtration efficiency. For best results, replace monthly or as required after testing water with your Fluval test kit, if you see a spike.

These comes in a convenient 3-pack format, and can be used in both freshwater and saltwater aquariums.
