Product Overview

API Melafix is a natural antibacterial fish treatment designed to help treat common bacterial infections and support the healing of damaged fins and tissue.

Suitable for freshwater aquariums, Melafix can be used for conditions including open wounds and abrasions, fin and tail rot, eye cloud, body slime and mouth fungus. It can also be used when introducing new fish to help reduce the risk of disease developing during the transition to a new aquarium.

Dosage

Shake well before use. Remove activated carbon from the filter during treatment.

• Add 5ml per 38 litres of aquarium water
• For diseased or wounded fish: dose daily for 7 days
• After 7 days, perform a 25% water change and continue treatment if necessary
• When introducing new fish: dose daily for 3 days
