Seachem de❊nitrate is a high-porosity biological filter media designed to reduce nitrate while also supporting the biological filtration of freshwater and marine aquariums.

Available in 250ml, 500ml and 1000ml sizes, its unique porous structure provides an ideal environment for both aerobic and anaerobic bacteria, helping reduce ammonia, nitrite, nitrate and dissolved organic waste.

Directions for Use

• Rinse before use to remove any dust.
• Place in a canister filter, sump or other filter compartment where water flows through the media.
• For effective nitrate reduction, water flow should not exceed 200 litres per hour through the media.
• If higher flow rates are unavoidable, Seachem Matrix may be more suitable.
